Loved the 17th-century vibes of this old inn with a sun terrace and a garden. So quaint! And the best part? I had the privilege of paying extra for a shuttle service. What a treat!
Oh, did I mention the outdated décor? It's so charming to feel like I stepped back in time.

The shower was modern and excellent. The breakfast was plentiful and the Dutch owner was really pleasant. The town itself is mind-blowingly stunning, with amazing restaurants and a stunning square. We had the most amazing stay in this charming medieval inn. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the parking area and close to all the sights in town. Our room was spacious and beautifully furnished with period pieces. the new bathroom facilities were a great addition. the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. the breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Plus, the view from our room of the surrounding cliffs was breathtaking.
That the room tended to get warm during the heatwave, but that was a minor inconvenience.

I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere at Auberge Lion D'Or. The hosts, Jan and Bo, made me feel like a part of their extended family. The historic charm of the inn, combined with modern amenities, created a delightful experience. The spacious rooms were tastefully decorated with antique items, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I also enjoyed the designer bathroom, which added a touch of luxury to my stay. The breakfast, served in a room where a scene from a famous movie was filmed, was a perfect start to my day in the medieval town of St. Antonin. I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this gem of an inn.
